November 20 – 24, 2017 is Anti-Bullying Week, or as we like to call it “Increase the Kindness Week”.
During this time students will be engaged in activities to learn about the difference between bullying and conflict/teasing.
Taylor Evans Eagles will focus on activities that can “Increase the Kindness” everyday, all year!
Monday at 9:40 – We will have a kick off assembly in the gym – we will be talking
Feedback welcome on draft board policies
The Upper Grand District School Board is welcoming public input on draft policies. Currently under review is the following policy:
Policy 310 – Display of Flags
This policy is important to students, staff, school councils, parents and community members because the display of flags at schools reflects the values of inclusion and respect for all in the school community.
You are invited to
4 colleagues and I are raising money for the Children’s Foundation Food and Friends program. Our goal is to raise $5000 to go to the Children’s Foundation for Guelph/ Wellington – www.childrensfoundation.org
Currently, our school, Taylor Evans, do not access funds from the Food for Friends program, but will apply for grant money this year for our snack/ emergency lunch program we run out of

Dear parents and guardians,
We wanted to make you aware of a situation that happened near our school community today.
On Friday at 8:45 a.m. at the corner of Rhonda Road and Willow Road, a young student from a nearby school was approached by two unknown males driving a blue four door car. The unknown males spoke with the student, who left the area immediately.
