November 2021 News!
Hi Everyone!
Just a short note to say THANKS FOR BEING AWESOME! We haqd our first altogether assembly (outside and classes distanced from each other) on Thursday and it was AWESOME! So much School Spirit in coming together and hearing the students cheer! We raised over $2000 for Terry Fox and Cancer research! So as a staff we ate bugs, got pies in the face, doused with ice water and one head was shaved!
This year Progress reports will be available online. See the School Calendar for dates! information will be coming out from the Board on November 5th. This report is communication based on assessment in the first two months of school. They are an opportunity to check in on your child’s progress, to talk to the teacher and collaborate on a plan to support your child for learning as they work toward their First Term report card.
Keep reading with your child at home and looking for opportunities to practise math together. Have an older sibling read to their younger sibling, yourself or another family member.
