Photo Day
Well, this has been the most confusing year for class photos! This is what we know:
- After our photo day in the fall, LifeTouch had technical difficulties and could not provide us with the photos they took, nor could they rebook a new date.
- We booked January 20th with Pegasus, for our school photos.
- We were told by LifetTouch that ALL families who ordered photo packages would get a refund.
- Families who ordered packages online did get their refund.
- Families who paid cash for their packages, did not get a refund.
- After months of trying, LifeTouch was able to gain access to the photos taken in the fall, as a result
- Families who did not get a refund got their packages (teachers got these today).
- We have been told that families who ordered online got an email from LifeTouch with the proof attached.
On Friday, January 20th:
- All students at VCPS will get their photo taken with no cost to anyone. These photos will be used to create a composite class photo (similar to the graduation composite) that will be given to each child, free of charge.
- Students who are absent tomorrow, will have the opportunity to have their photo taken on our retake day, March 7th. Photos taken on March 7th will be added to the class composite picture.
- There are no forms, no cash required for tomorrow. After photos are taken, families will receive a proof of the photo. At that time, families who wish to order a package can do so.
NOTE: if the busses are cancelled, we will be setting another date.
