Important Announcement (emailed Friday)

Hello Falcon Families, 

I wanted everyone to know that beginning June 30th, I will be ending my 30 years in education and beginning my retirement! I have had a wonderful two years as Principal in this community. In my time at Victoria Cross PS, I have grown professionally, worked with amazing staff, met incredible families and established new friendships. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to work with all of you and especially your children. 

I would like to welcome Shannon Spike as the incoming Principal at Victoria Cross PS. Ms. Spike has been a Principal at several schools within the UGDSB and she will bring her experiences from these schools, as she begins to work, alongside Ms. Sloan, with our staff and community on June 30th.

I want to thank all of you for your support. This has been an incredible experience and I am so proud of this school and this community.
