Request for Technology to Support Temporary Remote Learning (December 28th)

Posted December 28, 2020

Hi everyone,
Please complete the following Chromebook Request Form only if you do not currently have access to a device at home.  We will be prioritizing one device per family to start in order to support the temporary switch to remote learning for the week of January 4th-8th.  We have a limited number of devices available at this time.  If we have any left after the initial distribution, we determine if we are able to provide more to those with multiple students at home.

Pick up for devices will be at the school on Monday, January 4th, 2021 between 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.  You will receive a confirmation e-mail from Mrs. Drohan by Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 in regards to your request for technology.  If you have previously communicated a need for technology (either to the office or the classroom teacher), you are still required to complete the following survey.  This will ensure requests are not missed.
Please watch the school and Board websites for more information, as well as your email and the Google Classrooms.
Thank you in advance for your patience.  We hope you are able to take some time this week to enjoy the holiday season.  We look forward to being in touch with you shortly.

Please click on the following link to access the Request for Technology Form.

Below is information regarding Temporary Remote Learning starting on January 4th:

  • During the week of December 28, schools will determine the technology needs of their students. Schools will communicate with families directly about device pick-up.
  • Schools will continue to support students who are unable to access technology or reliable internet (more information will be coming in regards to the option for paper packages).
  • Teachers will post their regular weekly schedule in their Google Classroom.
  • On January 4, elementary students will have access to asynchronous work posted in their Google Classroom and teachers will check in with all of their students.
  • From January 5-8, teachers will provide daily instruction with a combination of synchronous and asynchronous learning activities.

Thank you in advance for your continued patience and understanding!

Mrs. Drohan
