Monday, September 19th – Pizza Orders Due
Pizza orders must be placed through SchoolCash Online. No late orders can be accepted as a significant amount of work goes into organizing the orders after the window closes to get it ready for the pizza company and Mr. Pellar’s class who delivers the pizza to classes. The first day for pizza will be Friday, September 23rd and the final day will be Friday, October 28th. The next opportunity to order will be sent out in October and will cover November and December. Instructions on how to set up your SchoolCash Online account were sent home with the September Newsletter for those who do not already have one.
Thursday, September 22nd – Open House
The Open House will run from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Families will have a chance to visit classrooms and meet the teachers. There will also be a Book Fair in the library (cash only).
Tuesday, September 27th – Picture Day
This year, we are working with a new company. There won’t be any order forms coming home ahead of time and no pre-payments are required. Once the proofs are sent to the school, we will be sending them home. Orders can then be placed online.
Thursday, September 29th – Terry Fox Run
Classes will be participating in the run either on the school grounds or within the neighbourhood (depending on grade level). Change will be collected by each class to support the cause. The rain-date will be Friday, September 30th.
Friday, September 30th – National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (Orange Shirt Day)
Wear orange to honour the children who never returned home and Survivors of residential schools as well as their families and communities.
