COVID-19 school and child care screening

As of October 1, Public Health has made a few updates to the testing guidelines for children.
The main update is adjusting the type and number of symptoms needed for a child to stay home for a period of time and seek medical advice.
The guidelines continue to evolve as we learn more about COVID-19, how it spreads, and how it affects children and adults in different ways.
