Terry Fox Run
Wellington Heights will be hosting its annual Terry Fox Run again in person on Wednesday, September 29th. All students will be invited to run or walk with their classroom cohorts and teachers outside near the school in downtown Mount Forest. You will notice our Terry Fox flag flying at the school beginning next week, in order to show our school’s support for cancer research and Terry Fox’s legacy.
Students and families are encouraged to donate to this cause online using our school page at the following link: http://www.terryfox.ca/WellingtonHeightsSSMountForest . Students are also encouraged to bring in a toonie for Terry on the day of the run to donate in person. All funds raised will go towards the Canadian Cancer Society in support of cancer research.
