Principal´s Message
Dear Parents/Guardians,
I wanted to officially welcome you to the 2018/19 school year! A great deal has happened over the first two weeks of school. At this time we have completed our reorganization of classes and students; this now allows us to move forward and get to work towards our goals.
Your child may have shared with you some information regarding our new T-shirts. The T-shirts have been provided to every student and staff member in the school. They have the word ̈Believe ̈ on the front and the number ̈50 ̈ on the back. ̈ ̈Believe ̈ is our school motto for this year. As I shared with the students, we all believe in them and believe that they can reach their dreams. We will work diligently to support our students and help them to reach their goals. The number ̈50 ̈ recognizes that we are in our 50th year as a school. We are looking forward to sharing further details on how we will celebrate this exciting milestone!
Some information was shared with regards to our communication this year. We will continue to use our website, twitter, messenger app and email notification to provide you with correspondence from the school. In addition, all of this information will be vetted through classroom correspondence tools such as Google Classroom. Please let me know if you have any further suggestions to help you stay informed about our great school.
I would like to welcome all Willow families to join us for our ̈Meet the Staff ̈ night on Sept. 24th from 5:00-6:30. Our School Council will be running a barbeque that evening. More details about the barbeque and the evening will be shared shortly.
