Principal’s Message

Posted November 28, 2018

Dear Parent/Guardians,

I hope this message reaches you well and that you are embracing this change in weather and all the fun that comes with it. We have had a busy month at Willow; this month we celebrated kindness as a means to recognize anti-bullying week in mid November. Our students participated in a number of activities and assemblies to help them understand that being kind to one another is the key to making students safe and happy. We will continue to message on this theme throughout the school year!

Parent/Teacher Interviews are currently underway and we hope that you have made yourself available to attend or to conference with your child’s teacher. Working together to support our students is critically important to their success. This early opportunity allows us to identify any concerns that we may have. Moving forward, please feel free to connect with the school at any time if you have questions or concerns about your child’s progress.

December will bring the spirit of the holiday season. This month we will recognize all celebrations across our diverse culture in the school. We have so many celebrations that occur over the course of the calendar year and we want all of our students to recognize them. At our WOW assembly, students will be presenting on this topic and helping to set the tone for the month of December.

My next message home will be after the holiday season. Have a wonderful holiday with your family!

Mr. S.. Viveiros
