Principal’s Message – June

Posted May 31, 2019

Dear Parents/Guardians,

JuneIt is tough to believe, however, June has arrived! It sure doesn’t feel like Spring is here and that June has arrived with the weather that we have had. I hope that June will bring us some sunnier skies and higher temperatures; this will also be important for all the special events that will be happening over the month of June. These include some of the following:

  • June 4th- Diversity Day
  • June 7th-JK Orientation
  • June 17th-Gr. 8 Trip
  • June 21st- Primary/Junior Year End Awards
  • June 25th-Gr. 8 Grad

These are just some of the exciting events happening in June. Please continue to follow the website and classroom correspondence to keep up to date with all events happening this upcoming month.

We had a very eventful month of May. One of the highlights was our 50th anniversary event. This was a tremendously successful evening. It was wonderful to see communities of staff and students from the past and present come together to celebrate our great school. Thanks to all of you that helped out and for attending and supporting the event.

This upcoming month will provide us with an opportunity to plan for the upcoming school year. Our two final PD Days will be devoted to creating new class lists and reviewing transition plans for our students. If you have some thoughts about this process and wish to inform me about some concerns you may have leading into September, please feel free to connect with me personally.

Have a wonderful month!

Mr. S. Viveiros
