Important Information and Dates Related to the End of the School Year

As the end of the 2021 school year approaches, we wanted to make sure we communicated some important pieces of information before heading into the summer break. Firstly, we would like to sincerely thank all of our amazing students and their families for their commitment and perseverance during challenging times. We would also like to formally acknowledge the incredible dedication and hard work of the WCW Staff who helped ensure that the remote learning experience went as smoothly as it could.
Below is some important information and dates related to the end of the school year:
- Return of Library Books June 21st – 29th between 9:00-1:00 – a labelled bin has been placed by the front doors for book return
- Grade 8 Graduation June 22nd 3:00-5:00
- Report Cards Available online June 24th – To create a Parent Portal account, please visit this page and click on the link for your child’s school
- Pickup of Student Belongings June 24th – June 29th – Teaching staff will post an asynchronous day to pack up classrooms and coordinate the pickup of student belongings. Information will be posted in the google classroom.
- School Chromebooks Return June 29th – 30th 8:00-3:00 – weather permitting – bins will be organized by homeroom classes outside the front of the school or in the foyer. Please return the chromebook to your child’s homeroom bin. Remote students please return the chromebook to the bin labelled remote students
- The final day of school for the 2020/2021 school year is June 29th. As such, remote learning will continue as it has been until the end of the day on the 29th
Please remember:
- Prior to coming to the school, complete the Covid-19 Self-Assessment
- Park in the parking lot – no parking in the bus drop off zone
- Please remember to maintain two metres apart
- Please hand sanitize before entering the building
- Masks will need to be worn while on site
