EJPS Week at a Glance (June 12-16)

Chers parents,

Our Grade 3 students completed their EQAO assessments this week and now the Primary and Junior assessment sessions are over for the 2022-23 school year. Well done students and staff! Today, our Grade 2 to 5 students are certainly enjoying their time at the Children’s Groundwater Festival at Guelph Lake. It sure is quiet at the school today!

Next week we have lots of activities lined up. Our Volunteer Appreciation Tea is on Tuesday, City Track will be on Wednesday, Grade 1 students will visit the Butterfly Conservatory on Thursday, and our Grade 6 Overnight Camp is occurring on Thursday and Friday. In terms of outdoor activities next week, we will continue to monitor the air quality and support students when needed. Let’s all hope for lots of rain and successful interventions by the forestry firefighters across our nation.

Attention all volunteers! Whether you helped regularly or came out just once, we are so glad you came. Please join us on Tuesday, June 13th so we can show our appreciation for your help and your time. Our school doesn’t run without you!
