EJPS Week at a Glance (Nov 13-Nov 17)
Chers parents,
It was so nice to see the wonderful work and presentations produced by every single Grade 6 student under the direction of Mme Roberts for our Remembrance Day service. Their presentations were thought provoking and inspired deep reflection. We also appreciated the singing by Mme Forbes’ Kindergarten class and the choir led by Mme Rossi and parent volunteer Paula Wilson. On Monday, our Junior soccer teams participated in a tournament and won five out of eight games. Way to go! Thank you to Mme Ross, and parent coaches Mr. Vuk and Mr. Bernal for helping prepare our teams to do their best.
Below are some important information items and updates:
Pizza & Subway Orders for December 2023 have been posted in School Cash Online.
The deadline to order is Monday November 20, 2023 – Midnight. No late orders will be accepted.
*Please note: Refunds will not be given in the event of a student’s absence. If there is a No Bus Day on a Thursday, the pizza order will be cancelled for that day and the order will be served the following Monday.
- Nov 13-24 > WHY survey administration window (letters sent home on Nov 1st)
- November 16 > Progress Reports will be available (information to come early next week on how to retrieve progress reports online)
- November 20-24 > Bullying Awareness & Prevention Week
- Nov 21 > Picture Retake Day
- Nov 23 > Parent-Teacher Interview Night (details TBD)
- November 24 > PA Day (parent-teacher conferences, more information to come)
- November 30 > Gr 1s and 2s to the River Run for a presentation (Linamar for the Performing Arts series)
