Chers parents,
First of all, congratulations to our students and staff who accomplished our first sign post in the school year…Progress Reports! We so appreciate parent partnership and look forward to seeing parents around the school for their parent-teacher conferences. This is also a good time for teachers and parents to check in about lates and absences. Supportive conversations on this topic ensure our students have the best chance for success. Together we can/Ensemble nous pouvons!
Old Man Winter is around the corner, so be prepared for any inclement weather days by following the link below.
In other news, we will have an Anti-Bullying Awareness and Prevention Assembly on Wednesday at 11 AM. This week and all next week we will have announcements and classroom activities building our capacity to reduce bullying behaviour in our schools. Students can wear pink all week but Wednesday will be our culminating Pink Day celebration recognizing all the things we have done and will continue to do to “Stand Up, Stand Strong, and Stand Together” to stop bullying behaviour. We look forward to Mme Anselmini-Lofton’s Grade 4 class leading the assembly! It’s also worth noting the update of the “Bullying Reporting Tool” button found on all UGDSB school websites. It is a pink box located on the right side of our home page and is entitled “Report Identity-Based Harm and/or Bullying”. Fact: IN THE MAJORITY OF CASES, BULLYING STOPS WITHIN 10 SECONDS WHEN PEERS INTERVENE, OR DO NOT SUPPORT THE BULLYING BEHAVIOUR.
Pizza & Subway Orders for December 2023 have been posted in School Cash Online.
The deadline to order is Monday November 20, 2023 – Midnight. No late orders will be accepted.
*Please note: Refunds will not be given in the event of a student’s absence. If there is a No Bus Day on a Thursday, the pizza order will be cancelled for that day and the order will be served the following Monday.

- Dec 12 > Gr 5s and 6s to the River Run for a presentation @ 1:15PM
- Dec 13 > Holiday Extravaganza (9:15 – 10:00 KA, KB, KC > 11:00 – 12:30 1A, 1B, 1/2C, 2A, 3B & ALL Gr 3 Dragonfly Drummers > 1:20 – 2:50 EJ Percussion Ensemble, 3\4A, 4B, 5A, 5\6B, 6A, Junior Choir)
- Dec 15 > Jr Volleyball Tournament
- Dec 22 > Last day before Winter Holiday
