To all UGDSB students,
As we approach the end of the 2024/2025 school year, we want to extend our heartfelt congratulations to each of you for your incredible efforts and achievements.
Like previous years, this has been a unique school year, bringing its own set of challenges and opportunities. Throughout it all, UGDSB students have shown remarkable commitment, adaptability, and perseverance. You've embraced your individuality while fostering inclusivity and strength, all while continuing to find your own path. We are truly proud and grateful to have such dedicated students.
This year, you've not only reached new academic heights but also engaged in creative pursuits and demonstrated kindness towards your peers, staff, and community. Every one of these milestones reflects your talent, dedication, and commitment to becoming lifelong learners.
Thank you to the Student Trustees and members of the Student Senate who have brought student voices forward – we all work better together. Thank you so much for your leadership and enthusiasm. We know our future is in good hands. And thank you to the parents and caregivers for your support throughout the year.
We would also like to wish all our recent graduates all the happiness and success as they continue on the path they have found and enter their next chapter.
As summer break approaches, we encourage you to take time to reflect on the lessons learned, friendships formed, and experiences that have shaped your journey this year. Celebrate your accomplishments, treasure your memories, and look ahead with excitement to the opportunities that await.
As a school board, we remain committed to supporting your foundational education, fostering a love of learning, and prioritizing health and well-being, equity, and sustainability; key pillars of our Vision 2026. You, the students, inspire all that we do.
Wishing you a restful, safe and joyful summer break. We look forward to seeing you in September. Let’s GO! UGDSB
Sincerely,
