Child Abuse Prevention Policy & Program

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Upper Grand District School Board places a high priority on student safety and well-being. As part of this commitment, our school follows the Child Abuse Prevention Policy, which supports creating safe and caring environments for all students.

During this month, students will participate in watching an age-appropriate presentation focused on:

  • Understanding different forms of abuse (physical, emotional, sexual abuse, and neglect)

  • Identifying trusted adults

  • Knowing how and where to get help

These lessons are designed to support student safety and awareness. We encourage families to talk with their youth about what they are learning.
