This provides you with an opportunity to find out how your child is progressing and work with the teacher to support their areas for growth.

Message from Your School Council

Thank you to everyone who was able to join our School Council meeting on November 4th! We truly appreciate your time and participation. Our sincerest apologies to those who experienced technical difficulties with the meeting link - the issue has since been resolved, and we don’t anticipate it happening again.

The School Council plays an important role in organizing and supporting a variety of programs and events throughout the year, all aimed at building a strong sense of community and creating fun, meaningful experiences for our students. Some of the initiatives we’ve led include the recent Dance-a-thon, our food programs (Harvey’s, Pita Pit, Popcorn, Booster Juice), Math Night (upcoming in February), Spring Clean-up and Earth Day events, Family Fun Night, and Grade 8 Graduation.

We’re also excited to share that we’ll be announcing a brand-new event soon, created especially for our Junior students - stay tuned for more details!

These activities wouldn’t be possible without the help of our wonderful parent volunteers. If you’re interested in getting involved or would like to lend a hand at any of our upcoming events, please don’t hesitate to reach out to sc.ivana.mcintosh@ugdsb.on.ca directly, we’d love to have you join us!

Have a great week!
