Hello Arbour Vista Families,
It’s hard to believe that the winter break is right around the corner! For those of you with travel plans, please ensure that student absences are communicated directly to the office. While it is great to inform your child’s teacher, it is most important to report the absence to the office. This helps us to ensure the safety of all our students, and limits us from disturbing you with unnecessary calls. Thank you in advance for your assistance with this.
EQAO Results
The EQAO results are in, and we couldn’t be prouder of our school’s achievement! This success reflects the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our students, staff, and families. Individual student results will be sent home later this week.
10 Days of Giving
A reminder about our annual "The 10 Days of Giving", to support Guelph's Women in Crisis! Students are invited to bring in new, unused items. Here is a list of the suggested donations!
December 1- 5: Underwear for women, teens and children, slippers and bathrobes, pajamas, winter gear, coats, and boots, baby diapers
December 8-12 : umbrellas, hair styling products, journals and craft supplies, children and adult colouring books, items for teens: headphones, gift cards for fast food, cineplex, Best Buy, etc.
Throughout our donation period, we will also accept grocery gift cards and other gift cards (ex. Giant Tiger, Gas Cards, Walmart, phone cards, etc.) and any personal care items for women, teen girls and boys, and children. Any toiletries donated must be full-sized, unscented or mildly scented.
We appreciate your help supporting this organization in our community!
Lost and Found
Please remind your child(ren) to look through the items on the lost and found table found in the school foyer. There are many items ranging from mittens to coats. If you are in the school and missing clothing items at home you are welcome to look also. Any labeled items will be returned to their owners. Please note that all remaining items will be donated over the holidays.
Picture Re-Take Packages
If your child had picture re-takes done, their proofs were sent home last week. Please note that the “order by” date printed on the package was incorrect.
Pegasus will accept orders until December 8th, and delivery will be made before the winter break.
