Anti- Sex Trafficking- Grade 7

Please take a moment to review the email communication sent home regarding the upcoming Anti-Sex Trafficking presentation for Grade 7 students, scheduled for January 8th.

In alignment with Policy/Program Memorandum 166: Keeping Students Safe – Policy Framework for School Board Anti-Sex Trafficking Protocols (PPM166), this presentation is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure student safety. It will provide age-appropriate education to help students:

  • Recognize the signs of human trafficking

  • Understand how to protect themselves

  • Learn strategies to seek help if needed

We appreciate your support in helping us keep students informed and safe.

Kiss  N’ Ride

Thank  you for using the kiss n’ ride to drop off your children in the morning.  In order to keep the cars moving please have your child fully dressed and ready to exit the vehicle as you pull up.  Getting out of the car to put on coats and hats slows down others, and the loop gets congested.  If you need to help your children with coats, mittens etc. Please feel free to pull into a parking spot.

Lost and Found

Remind students to look through the items in the Lost and Found one last time before they are donated over the holidays.

January to March Food Orders Due Today

Today is the last day to order in-school lunches and/or snacks on School Cash Online for your child(ren).  Orders will be delivered from January to March. Options include pizza on Wednesdays and/or Fridays (run by the School), Wok Box and Harvey’s run  on alternating Tuesdays and popcorn and apple Chips on Thursdays. Wok Box, Harvey’s, popcorn and  apple chips are organized by the School Council. All proceeds from these programs support School and School Council initiatives that benefit Arbour Vista students.

Have a wonderful winter break!
