Hello Arbour Vista Families,
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Primary Family Math Night. We had a fantastic turnout, and it was heartwarming to see so many joyful faces throughout the evening. In fact, many of our primary students were buzzing with excitement first thing in the morning. Their enthusiasm is a testament to how they feel about math and the joy these experiences bring.
We hope you were able to walk away with some simple and fun ideas for integrating math into everyday activities with your children.
A huge thank you goes out to our School Council for planning and organizing such a wonderful event. Nights like these are made possible because of the dedication and teamwork within our school community. If you’re interested in contributing, whether it’s a small amount of time or a larger commitment, we would welcome you to our School Council. Our next virtual meeting is on April 7th. As always, many hands make light work.
MESSAGE FROM SCHOOL COUNCIL
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Math Night last week. We hope you and your children had a great time! A heartfelt thank you as well to our parent and teacher volunteers who made the evening possible.
While it may feel far off, planning for Family Fun Night begins well in advance! This year, Family Fun Night will take place on May 28, and behind the scenes, organizing and coordination start several months ahead.
Most of the volunteer commitment takes place during the planning phase and involves a few scheduled check-ins with the group. It’s a great way to contribute ideas and help shape the event.

STUDENT CELL PHONES USE AT SCHOOL
We kindly remind you that students should refrain from using cell phones during the school day, including transition times, lunch breaks, and outdoor activities. If there is a need for communication during the day, please feel free to relay messages through the main office.
Additionally, please be aware that if students bring cell phones or earphones to school, they do so at their own risk, as the school cannot be held responsible for any misplaced, lost, or stolen items.
We truly appreciate your cooperation in reinforcing these guidelines to help us maintain a focused and respectful learning environment for all students.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
