Hello Arbour Vista families,
As we welcome the month of March, our school is buzzing with the excitement that comes with longer days. This time of year brings renewed energy to our classrooms. We look forward to a month filled with learning, connection, and growth.
Faith Days During March
Acknowledging and celebrating days of faith is an important aspect of many religious traditions and cultures. Different faiths have their own holy days, festivals, and observances that hold significance for their followers. During the month of March, please see the days that will be acknowledged and celebrated by some members of our school community. Please note that there is diversity within faith communities and that no one list can represent all faith traditions or observances.
*Please note that we acknowledge Bangladeshi Heritage Month, Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, Irish Heritage Month, St. Patrick’s Day, Black Mental Health Week, International Women’s Day, Wear Purple for Epilepsy and other significant dates during the Month of March. These are not included on the chart above, as they are not days of faith/religious holidays.
Food Orders
A new round of food orders will open on Cash Online starting Wednesday, March 4, and will close on March 11. Please note that we are unable to accept any late orders, so be sure to mark your calendars.
Lost and Found
Please take a moment to check the Lost and Found before the March Break when you’re in the school or have your child look. Any unclaimed items will be collected and donated over the break. Teachers will also be taking their classes to look for any missing belongings.
From your School Council
Thank you to everyone who attended Math Night for our JK-Grade 3 families! We had planned to send each child home with a small math token that evening; however, our supplies did not arrive in time. We’re happy to share that your child will be bringing the resource home this week!
