Grade 8 End of Year Celebration
As June approaches, we are all starting to think about the end of year celebration for the grade 8 classes. This will take place on Wednesday, June 24th. We are hoping families of grade 8 students will be able to join us to celebrate the many accomplishments and student successes of our grade 8 cohort. The celebration will begin at 6:00 pm in the school’s gymnasium. This will be followed by a photo op for those who wish to do so, weather permitting, and a dance for the students from approximately 7:30pm - 9:00pm.
Important Information:
Student drop off 5:30 pm
Ceremony begins 6:00 pm sharp
Dance/Snacks 7:30-9:00 pm
Student pick up 9:00 pm sharp
Additional information will be coming in a letter from your child’s teacher.
EQAO Administration Data Update
We have had to adjust a few of the EQAO dates, as they fall on Significant Faith days.
Eid al-Adha begins at sundown May 26th and some students will be absent on the 27th.
We are also to avoid writing on June 1st, which is Ontario day.
Grade 6: May 25th- May 29th
Grade 3: June 2nd- June 8th
Cookie Dough Pick-Up
Remember that all Cookie Dough orders will need to be picked up on Wednesday, May 21st between 2-5pm. All orders will be collected in the front foyer. It is imperative that orders be collected within the times allotted, as the dough comes frozen and we do not have a means to keep dough frozen for later pick ups. If you have made arrangements for someone else to collect your order, please send the vice-principal an email. michelle.beesley@ugdsb.on.ca

We’ve been working hard together as a school community to fundraise for something truly special—and it’s finally here! The Arbour Vista Parent Council is thrilled to invite you to this year’s Family Fun Night, an evening filled with food, fun, and community spirit.

Pre order of pizza and samosa are available on School Cash Online. Kindly note we will not have extra for sale on site.
Onsite Food Sales
On May 28, we will have a limited selection of food available for purchase during our Family Fun Night. Unicorn Scoops will be on site, along with Carnival Treats offering popcorn, cotton candy, lemonade, and slushies.
