Hello Arbour Vista families,
Hope you had an enjoyable long weekend with time to relax and connect with family and friends. Long weekends offer a great opportunity to pause, recharge, and appreciate time together—whether that looked like getting outdoors, celebrating, or simply slowing down.
Sunscreen
With warmer weather approaching, we encourage families to send sunscreen to school for their child’s use during outdoor activities. Please note that aerosol cans are not permitted. Sunscreen must be in cream or lotion form and should be scent-free to respect allergies and sensitivities. Kindly label the container with your child’s name.
Reminder of the Upcoming Grade 7 Vaccines
Public Health is returning to Ecole Arbour Vista Public School spring Grade 7 vaccines on: Tuesday May 26 , 2026. Please click here for additional details.

Kindergarten Orientation
We will be welcoming our new cohort of JK students to Arbour Vista for their orientation on May 21th from 5:30-6:30. Looking forward to meeting our new Vipers.
Lost & Found
With the warmer weather, students have forgotten all about their missing sweaters and jackets, and as a result our lost and found bin is bursting at the seams. Please encourage your students to look through the lost and found items before the end of next week. All remaining items will be donated following May 28th.
Family Fun Night
The Arbour Vista School Council is thrilled to invite you to this year’s Family Fun Night, taking place on Thursday, May 28th from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
Activities and entertainment include:
Live DJ entertainment from Professor Jamz
A blow-up obstacle course and lawn games (fun for all ages!)
Visits from the Guelph Fire Department, Police, and Ambulance
Guelph Public Library
The always-popular Scholastic Book Fair
Our EAV Plant Sale
We are also very excited to feature our Basket Draw! Over the past several weeks, classes have been working together to create themed baskets. When you arrive, your child can pick up draw tickets to use toward the basket draw, which will take place at 7:15 PM that evening.
We look forward to seeing you there for a wonderful night of community connection and celebration!
Scholastic Book Fair
In coordination with the Family Fun night, Arbour Vista will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair in the gym on Thursday, May 28th from 5:30 - 7:00 in the evening.
