Join Us for the StressLess Workshop, École Guelph Lake Parent Engagement Night

The École Guelph Lake Parent Council invites parents and caregivers from our school community, as well as the wider Guelph community, to join us on Monday, April 13 from 6:30–7:30 p.m. in the school library for the StressLess workshop. This event is a wonderful opportunity to learn practical strategies for supporting children’s mental well‑being and to connect with other parents and caregivers in our school community. Participants will be introduced to simple, everyday tools that help adults understand stress in children and support them through common challenges.

During the workshop, participants will:

● Learn how stress affects children and youth at different developmental stages

● Explore practical tools to help young people recognize and manage stress

● Discover ways to build resilience and healthy coping skills at home and in the community

● Become familiar with the StressLess booklets, which provide easy-to-use strategies and activities for supporting children’s mental wellness

Childminding will be available for children aged 18 months and older. To help us prepare, please complete this Google Form to register and let us know if you will require childminding.

We look forward to seeing you there!
