EJPS Week at a Glance (May 12-16)

Chers parents,

It was so nice to see everyone at our Willy Wonka Musical performances and celebrate Education Week with you. The good community feeling was buzzing strong both evenings as we could see smiles and looks of appreciation on everyone’s faces. The students’ self portraits that express their self-identified best qualities in the hallways for our Art Gallery was of high quality and showed a depth of learning throughout the grades. The book Fair also added great value to the evenings and shows evidence that our staff, school council, volunteers, and students can all work together to accomplish great things. Thank you to Mme Davis and Mme Cigljarev as well as the play’s music director, Mme Gilmore, for their leadership and support in helping EJ produce such an outstanding musical. I want to say how proud I am of our 50+ students for their hard work and dedication and for doing their best to put on a spectacular show. You are such talented and incredible performers! Thank you to all the additional staff and parents and our School Council who were instrumental in the success of the musical!  Also, thank you to Mme Mizutani for organizing and running another very successful Book Fair!

Thank you to those who purchased tickets to our Willy Wonka show. All proceeds will go back into helping cover the costs associated with the performance. If you felt uplifted and appreciative of the tremendous value of this experience please feel free to follow this link https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/96221?qrcode=1 to donate additional funds to cover our expenses and help towards supporting arts education here at EJPS.
