EJPS Week at a Glance (June 9 - 13)
Chers parents,
Our Grade 3 students completed their EQAO assessments this week and now the Primary and Junior assessment sessions are over for the 2024-25 school year. Well done students and staff! Next week we have lots of activities lined up. On Monday, our Gr 6’s are off to their museum trip. On Wednesday our Gr 1s will enjoy some time at the Butterfly Conservatory and our qualifying junior students will compete at the City Track Meet on Thursday. On Friday, our FDKs are off to the Bullfrog Library.
If you volunteered at the school or on a field trip in any way this year, you are invited to our Volunteer Appreciation Tea on Tuesday, June 17th at 10:30 AM in the library. Our staff will prepare treats for you in your honour and some students will be doing some performances to start off the gathering. We’ve had so many volunteers this year it’s challenging to keep track! Please let us know you are coming by filling in the form below

Fortunately, we have been able to hire a 3rd supervisor for the remainder of this year. For next year, we are still looking to hire just one more recess and nutrition hour supervisor (NHS) to complete our team of 3 for next year. Would you like to make a difference at our school and help keep our students safe? The paid position requires you to help supervise students outside and inside the school from 10:20 AM to 11:20 AM and 12:20 PM to 1:20 PM.
