Student Council and some of our classrooms will be working on the Poppy Project over the next couple of weeks leading up to Remembrance Day.
Kits are available from Fanshawe college to make poppies that are sustainable. Each poppy has seeds in the paper and can be planted to grow poppies. Student council had a great time making the poppies and will finish off the project next week.
A portion of proceeds from the Poppy Project are donated to the Royal Canadian Legion.
