  • Follow school policies and respect student privacy.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our school community safe.

HEALTHY SNACK AND BREAKFAST PROGRAMS

We are pleased to share that JGPS has again received funding through Food and Friends to continue our Healthy Snack Program. Snacks will be available for students in the school kitchen.

Our Breakfast Program has also resumed! This year, we are offering a convenient grab-and-go breakfast each school morning from 8:10–8:25 a.m.

We are grateful for the support that helps make these programs possible for our Jaguars.

SCHOOL COUNCIL

School Council is a wonderful opportunity for families to become involved in school life, share ideas, support school programs and resources through fundraising, and provide valuable input to school administration.

Everyone is welcome to participate!

We anticipate approximately ten evening meetings throughout the school year, generally on the first Thursday of each month.

Next meeting: Thursday, November 3rd, at 6:30 p.m.

We look forward to welcoming new and returning families!

SKATEBOARDS, BIKES, AND SCOOTERS

For the safety of our school community, skateboards, rollerblades, and roller shoes are not permitted on school property.

Students riding bicycles or scooters to school are asked to walk them while on school property and secure them at the bike racks.

Thank you for your cooperation.

DOGS ON SCHOOL PROPERTY

We appreciate the many families who enjoy walking their dogs when bringing children to and from school.

To help ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone, we kindly ask that:

  • Dogs remain on a leash and on the sidewalk when arriving at or leaving school.

  • Dogs are not brought onto the school tarmac where students gather.

We have students and staff with allergies, as well as some who may feel uncomfortable around dogs. We appreciate your understanding and consideration.

This request does not apply to Service Dogs.

Thank you, JGPS families, for your continued support, communication, and partnership.

Together, we are building a welcoming school community where every student matters.

Have a wonderful October, Jaguars!
