Dear JMC Families,

We would like to share an important update regarding report card distribution.

As a result of recent changes by the Ministry of Education, beginning with the June 2026 reporting period, all students in Kindergarten to Grade 8 will receive a paper copy of their report card or Communication of Learning. This practice will continue for future January/February and June reporting periods.

Report cards and Communications of Learning will continue to be available electronically through the UGDSB Parent/Guardian Portal. Providing both a paper and electronic copy helps ensure that all families have easy access to information about their child's progress and achievement.

Please note that Progress Reports, issued in the fall, will continue to be provided electronically only.

Grade 1–8 Report Cards and Kindergarten Communications of Learning will be sent home with students on June 23, 2026. Electronic copies will also be available through the UGDSB Parent/Guardian Portal by 5pm.

Resources to help families access online report cards are available through the Parent/Guardian Portal.
