The myBlueprint Parent/Guardian Information Night is scheduled for November 6, from 7-8pm. It will be hosted by UGDSB and myBlueprint’s Brad Booker. This night will discuss how parents/guardians can get their own accounts, as well as some of the key tools they can use to support conversations with their child(ren). MyBlueprint is a comprehensive digital Career/Life planning tool that can be accessed by students anytime, anywhere for personal inquiry, career exploration, post-secondary planning, goal setting, and financial planning, and documenting their learning to share with teachers, peers, parents, and/or future employers.

Hello MCPS Families! See your email for a link that will take you to our Family Email for the coming week. Here are a few of the highlights: 1) On November 13th, our students will attend a presentation entitled Echoes of the Land in the MCPS Gym -- there is a link in the email to a letter with more information (a hardcopy of this letter came home last week). 2) Our SC Fall Fundraiser starts today (October 28th) for Harriston Packers, JD Sweid, and Voisin's Maple Products. A hardcopy of the forms was sent home today with our youngest/only students, and orders will be placed on SchoolCash until November 15th. 3) For our October 31st Spirit Day this week, a reminder that students may choose to wear their everyday clothes, to wear black/orange/fall colours, or to dress in a costume (see the email for costume guidelines). 4) A reminder that WDGPH will be coming to MCPS on November 18th and 20th for Dental Screening -- see the email for more details. Here are a few of the highlights: 1) There was a delay with our milk order and it will not arrive until Wednesday. Students who ordered milk will get two milks on Wednesday (one at each break) and two on Thursday. 2) There is a PD Day this Friday (October 25th), so there isn't any school for students. 3) Photo Orders need to be placed on the Pegasus website by Monday, October 28th. Photos may be ordered after this date, but there will be a $10 processing and shipping fee. 4) A reminder that on October 31st, students may choose to wear their everyday clothes, to wear black/orange/fall colours, or to dress in a costume (see the email for more information). 5) A reminder as well that a new version of the UG Connect app has been launched -- see the graphic in the email for more information.
