The test message will be sent on Thursday February 27 at approximately 4:30pm. It will be sent to staff and families via text, email and phone. The message will clearly indicate that it is a test and no action is required.
Recipients of the messages shouldn’t notice much difference from board-wide messages sent in the past, with the exception that recipients will now receive a text message, in addition to phone call and email. Recipients will have the option to opt out of receiving text messages. A reminder that the text message will come from the following shortcode: 277849.

SC Hot Lunches - Request for Volunteers and Upcoming Purchases
SC is looking for volunteers to help with the SC complimentary Pancake Lunch on Tuesday March 4. If you are interested please text Shannon Frook, our SC Chair, at 519-505-1016. School cash online is now open for the next round of SC hot lunches for the remainder of the year. They are as follows:

Drayton 150 Celebration
Mapleton is having a celebration for the 150th anniversary of Drayton becoming an incorporated village on June 27, 28, and 29, 2025.The Drayton 150 Celebration Committee are planning an opening ceremony, June 27, that will include a mass children’s choir. The committee would like to invite interested children from the area to join the choir. The children will be singing O Canada and another song yet to be determined. Due to inclement weather today, Wednesday January 29th, Maryborough P.S. is closed. All buses and taxis to our school are cancelled. Students and staff at our school are to shift to remote learning and working for the day, where possible. For short-term closure days (e.g., due to inclement weather), it is expected that educators allow for continuity of learning for students with postings to digital classrooms where possible. It is recommended that no new learning material be posted on these days.
