Do you want to volunteer at Maryborough?
If you have volunteered at Maryborough Public School you will have already had a vulnerable sector police check (VSC) completed. If your VSC is from within the past 5 years you are annually required to complete an Offence Declaration and Volunteer Agreement. You will find both of these forms attached to this message ( AgreementDeclaration.pdf ). Please complete and return to the office. If you are unable to print a copy for yourself please come to the office and we will provide copies for you.
If you are new to volunteering, or your VSC is older than 5 years, you will require a letter from the school requesting a VSC from the OPP. Please come to the office and we will provide you with the letter.
Your contributions to our school community in time, effort, and expertise are so valued. We hope you continue to enjoy your volunteer experiences here at Maryborough. You are making a big difference in the lives of our students!
Of course any questions or concerns let us know.

Principal

Attention retired French teachers: Join our DELF Marking Team!

This year, the Upper Grand District School Board partnered with Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health to offer a student mental health leadership opportunity to Upper Grand secondary schools. The pilot took place at Guelph CVI and Orangeville DSS and was an opportunity for schools to bring youth together in leadership around mental health in their schools.

As we approach the end of the 2023/2024 school year, we wanted to say congratulations to each UGDSB student for your efforts this school year. We are grateful to have such dedicated students at the Upper Grand. Congratulations and enjoy your summer!
