Dear PCPS Families,
We would like to thank our Gardening Clean up club for their help cleaning up the front of the school. Congratulations to our team that travelled and competed in the Elementary Skills Canada competition this past Tuesday. Thank you to Ms. Lowe and Mr. Zettel for your coaching. Our team worked well together, had amazing problem solving and communication skills, and just simply made us proud. Our chess club continues to meet under the direction of Ms. Dilba. Ms. Lowe is helping build our badminton team and we are looking forward to their tournament later in the month.
Save the date: Thursday May 7 will be our PCPS Wellness Event night and we welcome the community into our school from 5-7. More information to come
.
The following outline of plans for our upcoming PA Day on April 24, 2026, has been created to satisfy these requirements. It has been posted on the board website and also on each school’s site.
April 24, 2026, PA Day Description - poster for schools
Climber & Playground Safety: Our PCPS climbers will remain closed until the frost has fully left the ground. The wood chips will be rotated to ensure a loose and safe surface. Thank you so much for your cooperation and for reinforcing this message with your children.
Dogs on School Property: As the weather slowly starts to improve, please remember that dogs or other pets are not allowed on school property. Service animals permitted. Some of our students have a fear of dogs and other animals. Please wait with your dog or other pets off school property for your child(ren). Thank you for your support.
Extra Pants & Socks: It’s a great idea this time of year to pack extra socks and pants. Mud and puddles are everywhere and this avoids a call home during the middle of the day.
