Congratulations on a wonderful first week together.   The school was buzzing with positive energy as we welcomed your children back to the new year.

A few reminders:

  • Our School day begins at 8:40.  It is important to begin the new year by building strong routines.  Please arrive on time so your child can enter the building at their classroom door.

  • Student Walking Trip Forms, Verification Forms and Media Consent forms were sent home today.  Please read, make changes and send back to the school ASAP

During the month of September, our Wellness Works focus is “Belonging.”

Everyone deserves to feel welcome, included, and valued. Throughout the month, we’ll be learning how small, everyday actions can make a big difference in helping others feel that they belong.

This week, classes spent time creating a Kindness Quilt, with each student contributing a small action they can take to help others feel included and connected. Together, these individual acts of kindness create something bigger—a reminder that we all have a role to play in creating a sense of belonging.

We’re looking forward to continuing our conversations and activities around belonging throughout the month!

Cell Phones and Earbuds:

As a reminder, students must turn off and put cell phones away securely at the beginning of the day and they are to remain there until the end of the day.  Thank you in advance for reinforcing these routines by reminding your children at home.
