Good Evening, Parkinson Centennial Families!

I hope you have had a good first week of November!  On Monday, November 11th, we will commemorate Remembrance Day with an assembly at 11:20am.  Here is some information about some upcoming events:

Progress Reports and Parent/Teacher Interviews:  will be sent electronically to parents/guardians on Wednesday, November 13th.  Also, the parent/teacher interview scheduling site will open as of 4:00pm on Wednesday, November 13th to book a time to speak to your child(ren)'s teacher about their progress so far this year.  More information about both processes will be communicated early next week.

Food Drive: For the month of November, we will be collecting non-perishable items for the Orangeville Food bank. The collection starts Friday, November 1st - Friday, November 29th. Ms. Grist’s class plans to display donations in the main glass case and put posters around the school.

Bullying Awareness & Prevention Week: From November 18th to 22nd, the Upper Grand District School Board will be participating in Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week (BAPW). During BAPW students, staff and parents/guardians are encouraged to learn more about bullying and its effects on students. For families who are dealing with a bullying incident there are many resources on the UGDSB website to support.
