Good afternoon, Princess Margaret families,

I wanted to reach out before the weekend to let you know that our staffing and class placements have been reviewed by our school board. As a result, there have been some changes. Families of students who were affected by these changes have already been contacted directly by phone. We also gained some additional one grade classes while reducing the number of split grades (Example: a ½ became a grade 1 classroom).

For the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year, our school organization will be as follows:

  • Kindergarten (Flear and Bradford)

  • Kindergarten/Grade 1 (Kirby)

  • Grade 1(Pozinak)

  • Grade ½ (Szabo)

  • Grade 2 (Ditchburn)

  • Grade 3 (Corbett)

  • Grade ¾ (Christie)

  • Grade 4 (Westlake)

  • Two Grade 5/6 classes (Landry and Hickey)

  • Two Grade 7/8 classes (Legros and Lyon)

  • LRC 8 (Penney)

To ensure compliance with Ministry requirements, we had to move a small number of students from one grade 3 class to another. Those families have been notified. At this time, no further class placement changes can be made, as our school organization is now compliant with the Ministry of Education. These changes will be implemented this Monday morning.

Thank you to all of our families for your patience and understanding as we worked through this process. We recognize that class organization can be challenging, and we appreciate your support as we strive to create balanced learning environments that best meet the needs of our students.

Have a fantastic weekend!
