Fall

September 29, 2025

We hope you had a wonderful weekend! Nice to see the great weather this week.

Staff parking lot on Mary Street: There is no parking or dropping off in the staff parking lot area due to student safety.

Playground equipment:  A reminder that our playground equipment is not open before or after school due to no supervision.  Student supervision starts at 8:25am in the morning and ends at 3:20pm after school. Please do not send children before this time in the morning. Students have been enjoying gaga ball and outdoor playground areas.

Food programs are on schoolcashonline.com  If you need support for pizza, please contact your child’s teacher or the office. Our goal is for all students to enjoy pizza.  We need volunteers on Tuesdays from 12:30-1:15 pm to assist with pizza distribution. If you are available to help and have a vulnerable sector check, please contact biancawarkus@gmail.com   All food orders are due on schoolcashonline.com this Sunday,  Oct 5th. No late orders will be accepted. There will be slices available for purchase on pizza days so students can buy slices for $3. Booster juice will soon be available for purchase of smoothies on Fridays. Stay tuned for more information.

We want to ensure that all students have the opportunity to enjoy pizza days. You will see a donation in SchoolCashonline.com for food programs. If you wish to make a donation to support a child who doesn't receive pizza, please click here. Your donation will be applied to support our students. If we receive an overwhelming response, the funds will be donated to another food program within our school to support students.

Bullying Prevention Plan: Please see the attached plan for this year highlighting our goals for bullying prevention. Classes have created fantastic posters showing our commitment to creating a safe and inclusive school.  Bullying Prevention Plan 2025

Wellness Wednesday walks continue this Wednesday and students are reminded to dress in outdoor clothes for our walk in the conservation. The timing will vary each week to avoid missing the same classes. This week is period 2. This supports our focus on mental health and wellness.
