Cold

Good morning RCPS families,

It is getting colder out there so please make sure students are bundled up for recess! Only 2 weeks until the holidays!

See the following updates leading up to the holiday.

Gr 8 Grad fundraiser-Bake sale-Dec 16:

We are planning a bake sale to raise funds for our gr 8 grad fundraiser. We would love any parents/guardians in our school community who are interested in helping to donate baked items on Monday, Dec 15th or Tuesday Dec 16th. Please send in items that are peanut free and include an ingredient list in the morning by 8:30am either with your child or send it in to the front foyer. Please label any containers with your child’s name if you would like them returned.  Items will be sold for $1, 2 to $5 depending on size and quantity.  We appreciate all of your support with our bake sale!

Food orders: As we get ready for the next block of pizza, subs, and milk orders, we’re asking families to consider pitching in a few extra dollars to support our school’s Food Program. When you place your order on School Cash Online, there’s an option to add a donation.  These funds go straight toward covering pizza and milk for students who could use support. For block one, we raised $1000 and spent $745 to make sure all students could be included in our milk and pizza programs.  We need to raise $500 (less than $2 per student) to help cover block 2 of our food programs.  Thank you for helping us make this possible!

Food Support is open for all families to donate from Dec 1st until Jan 9th

Food/milk order schedule:

Open Date: Monday Dec 1st

Closing Date: Thursday December 18th

Pizza Days Run Tuesday January 6th - Tuesday March 10th

Milk Days Run Mon through Friday starting Monday January 5th to Friday March 13th

Finally, a huge thank you to Gino’s Pizza for their generous $750 donation to our school. We’re grateful for their ongoing support.
