Good morning RCPS families,
Technology: We have noticed an increase with some Intermediate students housing their phones on them (in pockets), being distracted by smart watches and/or hiding air pods in their ears under hats/hair. These devices are often taken into the washrooms where we cannot directly supervise their use. We want to respect a student’s need to use the washroom but this is becoming more challenging to monitor. Phones and accessories are supposed to be housed in their lockers or in their bags unless they have teacher permission to use.
We appreciate if you can have a conversation with your child about the expectations and remind them that consequences will be enforced due to the Ministry mandated policy on cell phones - 1st offence, take to office and pick up end of day; 2nd offence, take to office and pick up end of day but parent will be called; 3rd offence, take to office and parent will be called to pick up phone and/or accessory.

Food orders:
Final term food orders are now available on schoolcashonline.com for subs, pizza and milk. The deadline to order is March 12th. New food orders for the final term start Monday, Mar 23rd.
Public Health updates:
Immunizations Suspensions:
Please be advised that students who do not have updated immunizations will be suspended from school on March 23rd based on Public Health requirements. If you have received a letter from Public Health, please follow the procedures.
Dental screening: Mar 9th -SK-gr 2 students will be screened. Please refer to the email sent previously.
