We hope you had a wonderful weekend! It is nice to see some milder weather.
Attendance support: It is very important to have students attend school daily. Please see the attached link about the importance of attending school and the impact of not attending and missing important lessons. We are here to help support in any way possible. Please reach out to your child’s teacher, Mrs. Dykstra, or Ms. Anand if we can help support attendance.

Drills: As we are in our final term, we will be having our regular drills including fire, lockdown, emergency evacuation.
Milder weather: Please send extra clothing for your children with the wet and muddy weather ahead. A reminder that the climbing structure isn't open until it is inspected not based on weather. We appreciate you helping by letting students know this after school so the message is clear about the playground structure. We do hope to open it soon!

· Gr 8 Summer School Reach Ahead Courses - NEW INFO! For UGDSB Summer School 2026, Reach Ahead course is being offered to Grade 8 students looking to earn a high school credit before entering secondary school in September. Refer to the information sent home by your child’s teacher
· Gr 7/8 Band to River Run - Tuesday March 31st
· Intermediate Floor Hockey Tournament - Thursday April 2nd
· Easter Break - Friday April 2nd - Monday 6th - no school.
· The Grotto Climbing at RCPS - April 7-10 - Informed Consent Forms went home - they must be returned to your child's teacher for students to participate
