The Guelph Storm are coming to RCPS Thursday, Oct 15 at 2pm. Thanks to Mme Rafalowski for organizing these events!
Primary Read Aloud
Who: K-3 classes are welcome to attend.
When: 2:00pm
Where: Library
What: 2 Guelph Storm players will host a Read-Aloud (Brady Brady books with a follow up question-and-answer period)
Memorial Cup History Presentation
Who: Grade 4-8 Classes are welcome to attend.
When: 2:00pm
Where: The gym
What: All about the memorial cup (Which is being hosted in Guelph this year). The presentation includes a short quiz to help reinforce the information – prizes are given out. Players may conclude with a question-and-answer period depending on time constraints.
Important Information
• Autographs
· The players are only allowed to autograph Storm clothing.
· To avoid lines of students wanting an autograph, the players will sign a sheet of paper which can then be photocopied and distributed to students who would like an autograph but do not have any Guelph Storm merch.

RCPS Fundraising Updates:
JD SWEID COMING SOON: Order Forms and information will be sent home next week, all funds raised will support our playground reserve fund
GR8 Graduation Committee Updates:
GRAD HOODIES NOW AVAILABLE: Graduation hoodies are now posted on SchoolCashOnline. All orders are due by Sunday Oct 25th, with delivery expected during the first week of November.
Teachers are currently working with students to collect the required signatures.
If your student would like their name added to the hoodies, please ensure you select “ADD LASTNAME” option to the ordering form.

GRAD SLIDESHOW PHOTOS NEEDED: Don’t forget to submit a baby photo and a kindergarten/preschool “first day of school” photo of your graduating student for our upcoming graduation slideshow. Please send photos to rcpsgraduation@gmail.com
UPCOMING TREAT DAY FUNDRAISER: Wednesday Oct 28th, during second nutrition break our first treat day will begin. Farm to Table Popcorn, Terra Cotta Cookies and Martin’s Apple chips will be available for all students for purchase at $2.00 each in the main foyer
