The Intermediate Gauss Mathematics club solving.  This club is made up of a group of Intermediates that has been meeting once per week since the fall to prepare for the contest.  This year, the contest runs on Wednesday, May 14 and we have about 54 students participating, with some non-club members as well - our highest number yet!  The students writing the test will write it at school on that day. The test will be supervised by Mrs. Betts and they will have one hour to complete 25 multiple choice questions. Thank you to Mrs. Betts for providing this great opportunity and leading the Math Club all year for our students.

Junior Drama Club presents….. “The Paperbag Princess” by Robert Munsch.

Drama Club members have been meeting weekly since March and they have had the opportunity to explore and develop improvisation skills, voice and creative expression.  This month we are busy getting ready for our upcoming performances the afternoon of Friday, May 23rd.  1st Showtime will be at 1:45 - 2:15 and the 2nd performance of the play will be 2:20 - 2:50.  All primary and junior students will have the chance to watch one of the shows.  All parents and family members of Drama Club members are invited to come and watch the show at either timeslot. It is an absolute pleasure working with this incredible group of students and I know you will be so impressed by their talent at showtime.  If you have any questions at all please feel free to email Mrs. Armstrong-Cameron at  Paula.Armstrong-Cameron@ugdsb.on.ca.
