The end of September is always exciting as our county sports calendar gets underway. This week our junior and intermediate soccer teams participated in the tournament at Centennial Hylands. Thanks so much to our coaches Mme. Sousa and Mr. Sy for all your work with the team. Thanks to our intermediate coaches and to our parent cheerleaders. Next week our Cross Country Meet is happening with students in grades 1-8 participating. They have been training hard at recess each week.
Hot Lunch Days are here! Thanks to our School Council who will be offering a variety of delivered meals each week. This year students will be able to have Pita Pit, Lunches Made Easy, Pizza, and Boston Pizza. To order food please visit schoolcashonline.com. Make sure you order early as we are not able to add orders after the deadline.
School Council will be having our first Winterfest Committee Meeting on Tuesday October 6th in the Learning Commons at 6:30pm to go over the roles at the event and how each member can help. If you would like to join the committee and help make this event a success but cannot attend the meeting, please complete the form at the link below,
We have had a few concerns brought forward that there are parents recording their children on the school yard. A reminder that parents are not permitted to take photos or video recordings of our students or staff.
A reminder to families who have children with life threatening conditions that we need your paperwork returned to us. If you are still waiting on a doctor’s signature please call the office and we will update our records to that effect.
