What a wild weather week! It has resulted in a lot of cancellations and a lot of re-jigging of plans. Unfortunately, all ski trips this week were cancelled and we are unable to rebook. Students who missed ski trips will be refunded by the end of March. We were looking forward to both the sideline basketball and hockey tournaments this week. Those will be rescheduled and dates will be shared with the teams.
Thank you to all of you who donated online or sent in money for our Live Free Campaign. All proceeds will go directly to our school’s snack program. We will have a grand total for you after the Break.
Just a reminder that Public Health will be here on Friday, March 21 to do optional fluoride treatments. Parents/Guardians need to register their children at https://survey.wdgpublichealth.ca/surveys/?s=48TARLMKPYFP88XF if they would like them to receive fluoride varnish. Also a reminder of the dental screenings happening for Kindergarten, 2, 4 and 7 that day.
Next week the school is closed for March Break. There will be no Principal’s Message next week. If you are travelling or stay-cationing we wish you a relaxing week where you build many memories with your kids. See you back at Spencer Ave on March 17.
