We are just over one week away from our School Council Community Event.  Don’t forget to sign up for your family to check out the Guelph Grotto Climbing Experience that will be happening in the gym.  Click the link to reserve a time https://forms.gle/FUwUhBgRQvEg3Urm7  We look forward to seeing you for a fun evening of outside activities, checking out the fire, police and ambulance services, and the Art Exploration van.  It is happening on Wednesday, June 11 from 5-7pm.

Congratulations to our Ultimate Frisbee team for their performance at the meet this week.  Thank you to Mr. Curry for coaching and Mrs. Lowrie for assisting.  We are always thankful to the staff that give up their time to plan, coach and host these events.

June is always a time of transition as we look to wrap up this school year and start the planning process for the next school year.  We would like to congratulate Mrs. Periard who will be the vice-principal of William Winegard PS and Erin PS in the Fall.  We will miss her care and support of our kids here at Spencer, her passion for inclusion and her sense of fun.  We are happy that she is able to be at schools closer to home.  Joining me in the office will be Mr. Allen.  Mr. Allen is the current principal at Erin PS.  We will be sharing him with Guelph Lakes PS.  Mr. Allen has a passion for environmental education, special education and STEM.  We know he will love our Spencer community.
