Dear Taylor Evans Families,

As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, I would like to share some information about the annual staffing process and the transitions that may occur within our school community.

As a result of the annual staffing process, we have some staff transitions to share. These changes can happen for a variety of reasons, including retirements, promotions, transfers, leaves, and system-wide staffing adjustments. While change is a normal part of each school year, we understand that students and families value the relationships they build with school staff, and we are committed to supporting a smooth transition whenever changes take place.

We would like to take a moment to acknowledge and thank Ms Broadhead for her dedication and support to our school community over the past four years as Vice Principal. Ms. Broadhead will be moving on from Taylor Evans Public School for the 2026–2027 school year, and we wish her all the best at her new school in Guelph.

We would like to inform our school community that Taylor Evans will not have a Vice Principal for the 2026–2027 school year. We understand that this may raise questions, and we want to assure families that the Board remains committed to ensuring strong and supportive leadership within our school. Our staff team will continue to work collaboratively to maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all students.

Throughout this process, the Board's priority has been to direct resources toward student-facing and classroom supports while continuing to provide safe, caring, and inclusive learning environments for all students.

As staffing decisions are finalized, we will share relevant updates with our school community. In the meantime, please know that our dedicated staff team remains focused on supporting student learning, well-being, and achievement.
