Dear Winegard Families,
It’s hard to believe we are already wrapping up the second week of February — it has absolutely flown by at WCW!
Our students have been busy learning and reflecting during Black Brilliance Month, deepening their understanding and appreciation of the contributions of Black Canadians. We’ve also had the incredible opportunity to participate in wheelchair basketball, building empathy, awareness, and new skills along the way. Add in exciting field trips, Valentines dance, sledding adventures on our brand-new flying saucers, and cheering on Team Canada at the Olympics, and it’s safe to say the energy in the building has been amazing.
As Family Day weekend approaches, we hope everyone has the opportunity to relax, recharge, and enjoy some special time together. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next week, refreshed and ready to keep the momentum going!
