Dear Families, 

We’re excited to announce our upcoming Dance-A-Thon on Friday, October 30th! It’s a fun-filled 

event where students will be dancing throughout the day to celebrate and raise funds for our 

school. We encourage students to collect pledges from friends and family to support their 

participation. Students are more than welcome to dress up for the occasion! Whether they want 

to wear costumes, orange and black, or simply whatever makes them feel comfortable, we 

encourage everyone to join in the fun and express their unique style! 

Period 2 – 9:30 to 10:20 – Kindergarten 

Period 3 – 11:00 to 11:50 – Primary 

Period 4 – 11:50 to 12:40 – Junior 

Period 5 – 1:20 to 2:10 – Intermediates 

Our fundraising goal is $7,000, and every bit helps! The money raised will go toward 

enhancing school resources, activities, and programs for all students. Below is the breakdown 

of how the funds will be used: 

Funds raised from this event will go towards the following: 

1. Playground & Kindergarten Play Equipment - ($2,000) 

2. Library Resources/Equipment - ($2,000) 

3. Media Kits (Film Making Focus) -( $2,000) 

4. Our School Snack Program - ($1,000) 

Awards for top fundraisers: 

• The top fundraising student in each division will receive a personalized prize (Gift 

Card) 

• The top fundraising class (per capita) in each division (primary, junior, intermediate) 

will win a class party 

Draw Prizes: 

If you or somebody you know would like to donate prizes for the day of the event that would be 

greatly appreciated. We would love to draw prizes during the Dance-A-Thon. 

Please call the school to arrange drop off at the office.

• All pledge envelopes are due back by Tuesday, October 27th to your teacher. 

• Please return one pledge envelope per student.
