Brant Avenue End of Year Post
Hello Parents,
There are a few important pieces of information that you should have.
First of all, I want to let you know that I am finished at Brant next Friday December 22. It has been such a pleasure to be here, to work with your children, the teachers and to get to know so many of you. This is an incredible school and I was honoured to be a part of your community for three months.
There are a number of principal transfers for the new year. Mrs. Furii will be working elsewhere in the board. Beginning January 8, Kelly Jones, currently a principal at Ponsonby School will be the permanent principal at Brant. She is excited to be here and work with all of you. She will be attending the holiday concert on Tuesday, so many of you will have the opportunity to meet her.
Kindergarten Registration begins January 9. Please go to the board website for more information.
There are some holiday activities and concerts happening next week. Most teachers have sent home information, but in case you haven’t received anything, our week will look like this:

Tuesday-Holiday Concerts Please feel free to bring a non-perishable food item to donate AM-Dress rehearsal (students and staff only) 2:30PM-Kindie Concert (concert will end near dismissal)-Parents are invited! 6:00PM Concert for grades 1-6 -Parents are invited!! Please have your children at the school no later than 5:45 PM Wednesday-Holiday socks and headwear Thursday-Holiday sweaters or sparkle/shine Friday-Comfy PJ’s for comfy cozy day |
